Did someone call my name? lol...If you're looking for an Editor, allow me to introduce myself and if you're not, hmph! TYRA IS! I am uber excited about this new project she's putting together along with Ken Mok, whose also down with America's Next Top Model.
It has been said that the series received an eight-episode order and will begin production, late spring or summer. According to Nellie Andreeva, of Yahoo.com "The show, which the CW unofficially describes as "The Devil Wears Prada" meets "The Assistant," is eyed as a potential companion piece for "Top Model." That's a bit scary if you ask me, but shoot, IM FROM BROOKLYN! lol (Bad Girls Club-I had to!) This is basically going to be a competition show for aspiring assistants with hopes of becoming assistant editors at a fashion magazine. While competing, they'll have to also prove that they have a sense of style, savvyness etc. (I WON!)
In each episode, the contestants will be competing in two challenges, an individual challenge and a team challenge, where the team is required to write a piece for "The Book" a mock edition of the magazine. Of course, like all competitions, someone has to say Adios!...and that person will most likely be the weakest link of the losing team. The winner of the competition will land a career in the fashion industry. (They said career....not job!....MAJOR DIFF.)

Im stoked and will def. try out! This is sooo me! I mean, I used to think Top Model was sooo for me...but we all know how that turned out. Don't get me wrong, I could've won, I just had this annoying shy thing goin on...but writing...a lil easier than struttin in stilettos. SEE YOU AT THE TOP!

At times I would catch her sitting down, staring into space and I'd ask her "Anon, wat's on your mind?" and she'd respond "Love. You know, there have been times when I'd get this strong sensation in my chest when I saw him, when I spoke with him and even when I thought of him, and I'd wonder to myself..could this be heart burn? But then I 'd think logically and realize, heart burn could never feel this good. A hug has never felt so safe, a kiss, so meaningful, filled with those "three words" written in the largest font imaginable, a look has never said so much. WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?" "I think you're in love, I'd say" "I can't be, she retort. I'm not allowed to do such a thing. I'm not allowed to love that deep, I have yet to love myself in such a way." confused...I'd say "huh?" "Don't cut me off", she interjects. "I can't crave another being, I have yet to truly believe in my own crave potential" And u say this why?..."because if I did...he'd be head over heels, talking to someone about me...."



The moral of the story is: Everything in life is obtainable until you stop believing that you deserve it. When you know your worth, others will know as well.

You guys should know by now that I love Jay-Z..and if Beyonce is treating him right, which she has to be if their still together, I love her too. This is my favorite couple. He is my dream guy, and she is definitely a dream girl. Jay may not have the best looks, he may not be gorgeous but as you grow up, you tend to realize that there is more to a person than looks. I am so in love with his swag, his style, his intellect, his drive. No matter how you slice it, he's the mother****ing guy! (I get a bit excited when speaking of him...do excuse me.) Anyway, many of his characteristics come to mind when I'm picking out my beau. I like a dude who's taller than me, of course, and that would have to be 5'10+. He should always dress nice, I mean, he doesn't have to be the Louis Vuitton Don, but he should definitely always look CLEAN (not to be confused with weekend washed clothes). Lol...Many guys shower and wash their clothes....but rarely have the NEW MONEY look. I like the "fresh out the wrapper" type dude (lol...am i mess?) he should always smell nice, and if you put that much time into the previous things mentioned, I shouldn't have to worry about you having bad hygeine, that really wouldn't add up. Cultured is a must, personality should def. be a 10(funny, but with a switch...we need to kno how to adjust the funny lol....I don't mesh well with clowns.) Independent, Respectful and most of all....Swagged out! (Ex: Hov...Puff...n that might be it for now...but im sure u feel me.) Some say I'm picky. Shoot, I am because (1) I can be (2) I have a right to be (3) I'm not dating for the sake of just saying "Im dating"...NEVZ(never). That comes with a bouquet of Wack and I have no plans of watering that one.(haha) Im out!

I was searching my fav. site http://www.net-a-porter.com/ searching for pumps and was blown away. They both have the almond shaped toe and patent leather finish. The only difference would be the extra zipper on the Alice and the extra inches on the Lopono. Oh and of course...a couple hunnits might separate them a bit.

If you haven't heard, I suggest you tune in! I recently got word that Valentino is calling it QUITS! (Gasping!) How dare he do so before I become famous...well, I suppose I can play friendly with Cavali. (landing on earth) Yea, so that was me having a DIVA moment. Getting back to the topic at hand, I was conversing with one of my sources and was told that at the age of 75, Mr. Glamorous himself is kissing the game goodbye after 45 years. On January 23, 2008, the italian designer showed his last collection at Paris Haute Couture Week and it was absolutely Glamorous. Valentino has had the pleasure of dressing the worlds most famous and of course classy women, including, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Princess Di and Jackie-O.

So, as you all may know, yesterday was my 21st birthday. (Hold the applause! lol) I went to 4040 and I unfortunately didn't see Jay(aww). However, I did chill in the Remy Room and it was definitely DOPE. The waiters were very attentive and the food, although the size of an snapple cap, was very good and expensive lol. I had crab cakes(3), Mommy had catfish fingers, Pooh had shrimp and Kerry had the meanest chicken sandwich(u should def. try it). For my first drink, I had a Pineapple Martini and of course sipped the heck out of Pooh's Apple Martini. (Hey...My I.D. said I could lol) Aretha and Tamika came through and of course we flicked it up crazy(Ill have those for u pronto!) Me and Kerry went to SPY(19th st. bet. 5th and six ave.) where we met up with Classy and Fab & co. It was a drag at first, but it quickly got poppin'(sort of like the bottles). B(my stink butt homie) bought me a drink...almoretto sour, I believe. It was ridiculously GOOD. So Sweet...I had to get another one. ;) He also got the DJ to shout me out a HAPPY BDAY!(So Sweet!) As the night went on...the D.J. had us rocking to all the mean tunes. I had a ball!....no wait....I HAD A BALLLLLL! (I didn't think u guys heard me! lol) The night was sooo sweet and honestly I was losing hope. I didn't expect it to be soo fun but it was the bomb!!!! Thank you MOMMY for dinner and just being MOMMY of course...and thanks to all of my girlies who partied with me and everyone who wished me a happy bday!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!(TO ME!)

Your girl is soooo 21 and can't wait to show it. A couple of posts back, I said that I was going to go to Tao's for my birthday but I had a change of heart. The new spot is...(drum roll please!) 4040! I went when i was 17 with mommy and Pooh(u'll meet her) and got the surprise of my life. I'm still trying to top that bday and I'm 21 now! Cutting to the chase...I SAW YOUR HOV'NESS! (sigh) It was soo unexpected omg. I was sitting there eating my mini burgers, when pooh said..."that's jay-z." At first, I wasn't payin her any mind...I didn't even find it funny to tell you the truth but when i looked up n listened (mad hard) as he spoke...I knew it was him and it was a wrap from there. I cried my eyes out. I got to meet him and was a mute(lol) but I got to meet him. I don't think there could ever be a day to match that day. I know you guys are probably like (yawn..wat was your point again?) Well, my point is, I didn't know he was going to be there on that day....and I don't know if he's going to be there today. what I do know is that I'll be there with the cool wears and water-proof make-up. I LOVE THAT GUY!!!

I would just like to apologize to all of my viewers for the neglect. Home girl was busy today, out and about, you know. However, I do have some goodies for you guys. Last night I went to a fashion show at the Paper Doll Boutique and it was MEEEEAN! Loved it! There were designs by S. Not to gossip or anything, but I've been hearing that Wyclef has been going in, allegedly saying that she's bi-polar and needs a psychologist. He says that she's def. not on drugs, which is a good thing.(2 snaps). It has also been said that he was walking with a chip on his shoulder, making comments like “So I would say that after our relationship she went through whatever she had to go through but this is like 14years later…she gotta get it straight!”Now he know he need to go sit down somewhere.

Harlow Winter Kate Madden, daughter of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, was born January 11, 2008 at 3:13 pm. This lil mama weighed in at 6 pounds and 7 ounces and is 19 inches long(already taller than mommy huh?...lol). I'm am so happy for Nicole and Madden. Harlow is adorable, I see she already knows how to make the "Paparazzi Get Back!" face..which is good being that they love to torture her mother.

Yea guys, I'll be 21 on 1/22/08 and as usual, I am riding the stress boat. It's always "OMG..WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR?"..."HOW WILL I CELEBRATE?"..."TIERRA, WHAT DO YOU WANT?"...."WHAT DO I WANT?" Dramatic? I know. I honestly can't help it though. Mommy asked me last night what I had planned and my answer was "IM OVER IT!" Of course she looked at me as if I was a weirdo but I decided to just have dinner with the friends and fam at TAO's, especially being that my bday falls on a Tuesday. She asked what I wanted, as did everyone, and to her I shrugged my shoulders as I always do. I didn't have a clue, so she mentioned last weeks YUM: MONCLER!!! "ooooh" I thought. "That might be a plan, however, it's January, February is next month, then comes March(SPRING)...Moncler gon get like 2 wears then its a wrap." So, I opted for something that I consider to be timeless....a bag. Not just any bag, A Damier Speedy bag. I mean, it's 6 chips n betta, may be less if you go to the right spot but I'm digging it. So....when I ask her for it, I'll be back with an update of what she said...:)

My Best Faux Friend of the week is....my girl RIH-RIH lol. I'm already giving her nicknames. Its cool because, if I know her like I think I do, she'll call me Tierra-erra-a-a. So, today I received an email from a woman named Tuesdai, along with a link. After clicking on the link, I was excited to see something that always tickles my fancy….and that’s jeans. Tuesdai Noelle, of Designs by Tuesdai, is a denim designer from Detroit whose handcrafted designs are placed on pre-washed recycled jeans and as you can see below, she uses rhinestones to bring her designs to life.

What stood out most to me when I visited the site, was how reasonable her prices are. Tuesdai has a special place in her heart for those who desire to look high-fashion but simply cannot afford it. I can definitely identify with that and thanks to Tuesdai’s kind heart, any female who’d like to sport her designs can simply send in used jeans and have them redesigned by her.

WHERE BROOKLYN AT?!

Brooklyn is clearly in The Bad Girl's Club mansion. Let Tanisha tell it. I was sooo turned off with her last night as I watched this weeks episode on youtube. "IM FROM BROOKLYN! IM FROM BROOKLYN!" so what!!! I'm from Brooklyn too, and kinda ashamed that I have someone like her representing my borough. People already believe that us Brooklynites have no kind of control and if it wasn't confirmed before, I can bet that it is now. When I think of Tanisha, the first thing that comes to mind is...BULLY. I hate when people use their height or weight to their advantage. Tall people can be bought down to size and Big people fall too, let's not forget that.

What really through me for a loop was when Tanisha yelled to her two lackies...(names not worth remembering)...to come down stairs and clean the kitchen. "This kitchen is a mess....come clean it up" was basically what she said, and believe me, THEY DID!

I'm soo proud of Cordelia though. In the beginning Tanisha was str8 clowning her, and of course because she let her. It seemed that Tanisha kinda fell back a bit, when Cordelia called her out and began talking back. When Cordelia told her to hit her, I didn't see Tanisha throwing water bottles then. MY FOUNDER...

Tiwona Lee is her name but I call her 'ma'. This is the tiny woman who birthed this big girl. Big, because I'm tall and because I'm destined for greatness. I'd like to look at her as my number one fan....my biggest chearleader....my biggest motivator. If no one in this world believes in me, I know mommy does and for that I love her. I love her for being a wonderful mother and great friend. As a youngster, I'll say me and mommy was cool, but now that I'm older, I see that our friendship is breaking records, lol. Of course, like many mothers and daughters we bicker but I really don't know where we'd be without our quarrels. Anyway, this is the sister I never had, the one friend that I'd hate to lose. Britney's Breakin Down...Got a Spare?

Before you laugh, know that I didn't put this up here for jokes. I believe she had me slappin my knee in the beginning of everything but I am no longer laughing. It has been made clear to me that Britney is crying out for something. I don't know if it's help, or attention but someone needs to come to her rescue. I honestly feel that she is a hazard to her health, her career and the lives of those around her.

I was recently listening to her latest album, and there's a song on there titled "why should i be sad." I love that song, and it's crazy because, when i look at her on television, she doesn't convince me that she's capable of being normal. Normal enough to write a song, sit in the studio and record it. The song to me, is a hit and it's also the reason why I chose to write this blog. I've always loved Britney but like most stars, she disappeared. When she came back into the light, she was still gone. She wasn't the Britney that we once knew. But then again, we forget that, we don't really know these people. We don't know Britney or her struggles. We don't know what she goes through on a day to day basis. We watch THE SOUP, TMZ, or ET, we read US WEEKLY, People, etc. and run with what they say. Britney is human too. She makes mistakes, like we all do. Shoot, I might bug the heck out too if everything I did was broadcasted and most times blown up and exaggerated. I'm not trying to justify her actions, that's not for me to do. She has yet to speak out on any of this and I just feel bad for her. She's losing and it's sad.

Im sitting here perusing through the pages of "PAGE SIX" and found something that I thought I should share. THE NEW BASICS for 2008 "We're tossing out the bubble skirts, leggings, and baby-doll tops for the essentials."(hmmm) The first item would be the Trench ...I love how this never goes out style. A trench is the ideal coat for fall, winter and spring, not to mention, it goes with everything and works on any body type. I love to wear my trench with sweats....so chic!
Next there's The Watercolor Dress (a good print to invest in), according to my source, designers are having a lovefest with all things ombre-dyed and splatter-painted right now. The Floral Blouse, Wide-Leg Trouser,and the forever popular thin grey crewneck Sweatshirt. Other basic hits include a pair of Summer Cutoffs(cuffed and cropped to look mor polished) work well with tights and boots, The Platform Sandals which offer height of a wedge, but the straight heel makes them more flattering to legs and the Pencil Skirt, taking you straight from the office to flirty, after-work drinks.

::I have to say, the shorts and tights....LOVE EM! I mean, I love em all but I have yet to try the shorts and tights and I'm always excited about the 'new-new' in fashion. ;)

Being as though I'm not BIG TIME...I couldn't sit back and hope for a call from one of Jay's reps. to confirm, so I had to do my research and I must say "the streets are not only watching, but they're talking now." It is being said that Jay and Jobs (Steve Jobs, of course) are joining forces and creating their very own record label. So yea, Jay is entering a Macworld that will basically see iTUNES move from music seller to music maker.(MAJOR!) According to www.parislemon.com , this was floating in the air since about June(interesting...)

As for the chain of hotels, I hear he recently bought a Chelsea spot(located at 510 W. 22nd St. and runs through to 511 W. 21st St.) in which to build what will be called J Hotels. As stated by Lois Weiss for The New York Post, Jay is partnering with Abram Shnay, a local developer, his son, Scott, and Charles Blaichman, who have all been involved in several projects, including the Philip Johnson-designed Urban Glass House in TriBeCa.

All I know is, I will be @ the hotel, as soon as it opens...with or without company. I mean, I have to support and you should as well!(That's All....said like Miranda Priestly of The Devil Wears Prada).
